So often I hear stories from single mothers of how a family member has caused them grief. In some cases the results are devastating. Others linger on for years with little or no resolution. It is the old and growing older problem of breeched boundaries.

It seems to me that one of the worst things we can do if we are on a spiritual path, is to think we don’t have anything else to learn-to be so sure of everything that we are unteachable.
Things have changed and I’m not just an old bird saying that because I’ve not kept up with the times. I can honestly say that things have changed in our schools since the time when I taught in them.
A lot has been said about waiting and I’m no expect in spite of the fact that I’ve spent a great deal of life waiting. I think most women understand what it means to wait.
Nothing – no nothing hurts the same way as grief. You don’t live as long as I have and not experience grief. I wish I could give you a simple way to make your hurt heal. It just doesn’t work that way.
For me the fact that Jesus became the perfect example of a servant is one I cannot ignore or rationalize. Serving it the point. I watched my mother do it. The people I most admire are servants. It is only when serving that I’m most happy. In truth I believe service is therapeutic. If you want to heal, help.
Since followers have not increased and I’ve become extremely committed to The Bridges of Hope for Single Moms, an Educational Support Program, I will no longer post three times a week.
