Religious Reorientation: a Memoir – Precious Grandchildren

My sons gave us five beautiful, and more importantly, healthy grandchildren.
To protect their privacy, I do not identify them here.

Here are just a few of the numerous pictures of them-

Religious Reorientation

I didn’t know how my grandchildren would be taught religious beliefs and given spiritual guidance. Since I had raised my children in the church, I hoped for the best. What ‘the best’ was has changed as my God concept has changed. I no longer believed that my group (or church) was the only way to live and the only way to worship. I was becoming a believer in the purity of Jesus teachings, no longer in our way is the only way.

I raised three children as a single mother before I remarried. In 2007 I founded SMORE for Women, a nonprofit whose goal is Single Moms, Overjoyed, Rejuvenated, and Empowered. I’m also a Certified Professional Coach and my stories have been published in several Christian books and magazines. My book, Living Learning Loving is available on Amazon.  My Website.
