I have a passion for sharing with women. This blog is for single moms, other moms or women who are seeking guidance. I am a mature woman who has had loads of life experiences to learn from. Though I have Master’s Degrees, my greatest knowledge comes fro the school of life class. I’m familiar with the pot-holes, pests, and perils that women face. My personal journey has brought me over many rough roads-having three children in three years, a divorce when they were three, four, and five years old, serious illness of a child, going back to college with three young children in tow, and personal chronic illness. I know the struggles, the heartaches, and the day-to-day challenges of being divorced and head of a household. My heartfelt desire is to show women the path to a fulfilling life.
I share here with hopes that I can make your load a little lighter. I always serve-up the truth with very little sugar added.
My viewpoints and beliefs may differ from yours. That’s okay. I give my opinion. You may learn from it. We don’t all have to agree to love one another.
It is my genuine belief that life is about learning. I continue to learn daily and hope I always will.
On my journey I’ve been a Southern Baptist, a Methodist, a Presbyterian, a full-gospel, spirit-filled believer. It has been difficult for me to align with any denomination (as you may have guessed :-))
Presently I attend a Cooperative Baptist Fellowship church. I’m very moderate and open-minded.
• Soul Freedom – I believe in the priesthood of all believers. I affirm the freedom and responsibility of every person to relate directly to God without the imposition of creed or the control of clergy or government.
• Bible Freedom – I believe in the authority of Scripture. I believe the Bible, under the Lordship of Christ, is central to the life of the individual and the church. I affirm the freedom and right of every Christian to interpret and apply scripture under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
• Religious Freedom – I believe in freedom of religion, freedom for religion, and freedom from religion. I support the separation of church and state.
Dear Single Mothers,
I have walked the path and I know the landscape. The root of the struggle is spiritual growth-it’s all about growth. It is my heart’s desire is to offer seeds of guidance. I strive to lead women to a place of restoration.
You will not find Bible studies here. You will discover biblical lessons. You will not find theology here. You may discover a path to God.
