In southeast Texas, I’m known as the “Old Bird with Feathers of Wisdom for Women and a Soft Spot for Single Moms.”

I was a single mother of three for sixteen years before I remarried.  My first article on returning to college as a single parent was published in Single-Parent Family magazine.  I have been published in the following:

I hold degrees in speech, art, and special education and a Master’s in education. I am also a Certified Life Coach and a Personality Specialist.
