I understand that college students are seven times less likely to graduate if they don’t have a support system. SMORE for Women aims to offer the support that single mothers need to finish a college degree.

Just as the roots of this tree are holding it up, keeping it from falling. They have a adapted and miraculously created support to keep the tree upright.

Over the last several years I’ve worked with single moms attending college and who were often without any family support. Some were discouraged from going to college at all.

Your donations have made it possible for single mothers to not only have financial support, but also be encouraged by the ongoing support of others. Just knowing others care enough to offer support inspires them and encourages them to succeed.
