Are You Humble

Humility

Radio spot as aired on KLBT 88.1 FM

We are all put-off by arrogance. Arrogance that is the opposite of humility. We expect our leaders to know it all but not to be a “Know It All.”

We like to know the answers. There are those who have what is called “spiritual certainty.” Humility misses the point somehow.

We even consider it a weakness if we don’t know the answers. When a teacher, boss or spouse talks down to us as if we should know the answer, we feel “less then.” Because we have the idea that we ought to know.

Being humble is being willing to be authentic rather than arrogant. Humility accepts that we do not need to know it all.
