New Life Prevails
Oh, how I love spring! I walked the trail that leads to Fern Lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park. All along the path, I saw new growth. Branches that looked as if they would never give life again were sprouting. The wonder of it never ceases to amaze me.
The symbolism is powerful. That a mighty oak grows from an acorn, that medicine comes from plants, and that our buildings are made from trees all intrigues me. In our part of the planet, we don’t see distinct changes of the seasons like they do in the northern states. In the north they see the snow melt away, streams swell and trees bud out from dried brown branches almost overnight.
Life renews and continues. As each of us can. It may seem more difficult to make changes as we grow older. I know it has been for me. And yet, I still sense the Light pulling me upward. I hope it is so for you as well.
In this world, you’re either growing or your dying so get in motion and grow.
