How Much Bad News Can You Take?
How does your average day go? Is it like a pendulum? Something favorable happens and you feel good. The next thing you know something unpleasant happens and you feel bad. Your life feels like a roller coaster. You may be on a spiritual path. And you may want to find a way to make the crooked way straight.
"Our life-transformation is in exact proportion to the amount of truth we can take without running away." -Vernon Howard in The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power
How much truth can you take? How do you react when something happens that is unpleasant or even worse? True transformation increases your tranquility and you will tend to have less judgment about all happenings and you will gain the ability to love without expecting anything in return.
I raised three children as a single mother before I remarried. I have experienced the potholes, pests, and perils of being the single head-of-household. As an educator in regular and special education for twenty years I know a great deal about child development and how to handle kids. I am the founder of SMORE for Women, a nonprofit whose goal is Single Moms, Overjoyed, Rejuvenated, and Empowered. I’m also a Certified Professional Coach and my stories have been published in several Christian books and magazines. My book, Living Learning Loving is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble online.
