53122273_sParents & Teachers Working Together

Radio Spot as heard on KLBT 88.1 FM

I know, I know school has been in session for weeks. Well almost everywhere. Here in southeast Texas, we’ve had a really slow start due to Harvey hovering and destroying with tons of rain. Many of our schools were seriously damaged and so many lost their homes and vehicles, which is a disaster in an area without mass transit.
Now that students are in class and hard at work parents be alert.

I taught for twenty years-not a long career, but long enough. Long enough to know that parents make a difference in their child’s attitude towards learning. Children learn quickly to respect that which their parents respect. They learn to disrespect the people they hear the parent criticize.

It makes a big difference in your child’s success if you stay tuned and be in touch with the teachers.
