Daddy Knew True Enthusiasm

Some of you know that enthusiasm is one of my most favorite words.  The word literally means with (en) the divine (theos). What could be better than to be with the divine?

My daddy used to say, when we accused him of being uninterested, that he was, “Bubbling over inside.” I understand that now. So often I am truly ‘bubbling over inside.’ During those moments others around me may not see it. I’m actually very happy about the truth of our Lord in so many instances around me.

I hope you can know this same wonder, this same enthusiasm.
