“All the buried seeds crack open in the dark the instant they surrender to a process they can’t see.”
Can you surrender “to a process you can’t see?” We all know the Serenity Prayer;
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can’t change,
The courage to change the things I can, and
The wisdom to know the difference.
It is a prayer because we are not capable of gaining serenity any other way. We must let go and trust the process. Even as the seeds that are in the soil do. We must allow God to do the work. Certainly I don’t mean that we ought to be lazy. We work. And we trust.
